Elapot and bellekoy’s travel

Disclaimer: please bear with me since this my first time to blog. 😊

From cubao we left around 1am since the bus waited to be full. (i forgot what it thw bus company but it is really comfy). Travel time is 5 hours via tarlac

We arrived at baguio around 6am it is really foggy and cold. We ate goto to warm ourselves it is 55php. Mode of transportation in baguio is jeepney and taxi. We opted the latter to go to minesview. We arrived at minesview around 6:30am and bought ube and strawberry taho

Since still early st. Bernard and igorot stalls are not yet open. We can’t enjoy the park as well because of the weather. It is slightly raining

Walking while waiting for the shops to open. Bellekoy she doesn’t want to walk and she’s really heavy.

After our quick tour in minesview park and it still early we don’t have a chance to buy some pasalubong in good shepherd. We rode a jeepney infront of minesview entrance going to the mansion.

Infront of the mansion is the wright park. So after we took pictures, we went to wright park.

After the kids enjoyed their wright park experience we rode a jeep to teachers camp. We just tried our luck to get any room and if there’s no room available then we will go back to manila again. I don’t have a plan to stay any hotel aside from teacher’s camp. Fortunately they have a dormitory type of room for us with common toilet. But we need to go back around 2pm because it is not yet available, and since it is already 10am we decided to take our early lunch at good taste

We took a taxi from teacher’s camp to goodtaste. At good taste we ordered sinigang na hipon at pancit canton. You have to wait almost 1 hour for them to serve your order so if you like to to go for lunch or dinner you should go there early. The servings are really good for sharing. After we ate in good taste we walk inside the market since we need to buy bellekoy slippers. Baguio is known that their walis tambo is really amazing. And it is really cheap though. We also bought kakain and it is so delicious.

After palengke invasion we rode jeep to sm. You should go to igorot park to ride a jeepney going to sm. We need to buy water and some toiletries. SM baguio is known because it doesn’t have air conditioning. After we bought the thing we needed, we took a taxi from sm to teacher’s camp.

When we arrived at teacher’s camp and got are key for pages hall they said that it is gonna be a challenge because it is a steep rode. By the way, I don’t have a photo of what does the room looks like but I thought at first that it is a typical dormitory with some double deck inside and you will sleep with others. But when we get inside the room it has 2 beds only, so basically kami lang sa kwarto, and you dont share the room with others, also the toilet it is clean and with hot water so you can take a bath. 😊 Maximize the using the hot water because the water it is really ice cold.

I let the kids to take their rest first before we go to our next destination. While they’re sleeping mama and I would like to drink coffee, and the goodnews is that there is a store near pagea hall. Prices are bit higher than usual of course.

Around 5pm when I woke up the kids and prepare for our next destination. It is just infront of BTC main gate you just have to cross the street and rode a jeepney going to burnham park

We played and enjoy the park while waiting for the night market. Unfortunately it starts raining and we can’t stay any longer because I don’t want to compromise my children’s health for the night market. So, after we ate our dinner we took a taxi and went back to BTC. We slept early beacuse we are tired and need to wake uo early the next day for our la trinidad trip.

Day 2

Call time 5am. We had our breakfast sa store near pages hall, and since it is cold so we bought cup noodles and coffee. There’s a lot of stall vendors but we opted to chose ate mich stall she is very kind and accommodating.

From BTC we rode a jeep going to harrison/palengke. From palengke we look for centermall, between jollibee and mcdo there is a jeep going to trinidad. Just let the driver know to drop you off to strawberry farm.

Even though strawberry picking is not yet available you might wanna enjoy buying lettuce for only 30 php for half and 50php for whole. Other veggies also available for a cheap price.

And of course who wouldn’t want to take this chance to taste famous icecream. I actually look for kuya Roque the one i saw at a fb page travel group. He had a very good feedback, unfortunately i was not able to find him. I tried other icecream though and it still tasty.

After strawberry farm we went to stobosa colorful houses. Just ride a jeep to centermall and tell the driver to drop you off at colorful houses

After taking photos we headed back to centermall. Just ride a jeep across the stobosa colorful houses. And from centermall look for footstep to ride a jeep going back to BTC.

Since I can’t find a blog about Baguio teachers camp like their contact number and rates. I hope this could help.
